Site Features:
The Burrow is a cozy, secluded retreat nestled under a canopy of casuarina and water gum trees.
This intimate space is designed for a single, low-impact group. To preserve the site's tranquility, we strictly limit bookings to one group/setup only.
Setup Options:
This site is ideal for multiple swags, a tent and swags, a rooftop camper, or a small pop-up camper trailer. It cannot accommodate large trailers, caravans, or multiple vehicles.
Important:
Towing & Access Please note that this is not a drive-through site.
If you are bringing a small pop-up camper trailer, please consider your reversing skills before booking.
Experienced Towers:
Will find the site simple to navigate.
Beginners:
Those new to towing may find the layout challenging to back into.

Max Guests:
4 people.
Water Activities:
An ideal launch point for canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards.
Nature Watching:
Perfect for river fishing and quiet platypus spotting at dawn or dusk.
River Access & Swimming:
In addition to the direct river access at your site for paddling, there is a wonderful swimming spot located just down the paddock. This open area is perfect for "littlies" to enjoy the water safely and is available for both The Burrow and Town guests.

Situated just 400m downstream from the historic sawmill town of Brooman, The Burrow offers a unique blend of local history and peaceful riverfront living.
Amenities Parking:
Space for one vehicle only at the site.
Toilets:
A short walk to the nearby shared drop toilets. Shade: Heavily timbered with water gums, providing excellent natural shade.
