Old Jinker Crossing is a secluded campsite located at the Head of the First Flat, nestled under the shade of casuarina and water gum trees. It's an intimate and tranquil space, ideal for smaller groups or families with tents or pop-top campers.
River Access
The campsite offers direct access to the river, making it perfect for launching kayaks or canoes. You can explore the shallow waters and discover secluded coves.
History
This site gets its name from the old Jinker crossing, which was used to drag logs across the river to the nearby saw mill. The historic town of Brooman is just 400m upstream.
